Garage and garden loads
The garage, the side gate and the corner of the garden where things get stacked: cleared in one visit and swept clean.

Post-war houses with wide streets, hillside homes with a long flight of steps, and a lot of rental stock in between.
Hayward is one of the closest cities to the yard — about 20 miles up the 880 — which makes it one of the easiest places for us to reach on the same day. The truck is usually there within the hour if the diary is clear.
The housing is mostly post-war: single-storey houses on flat streets with a driveway, a garage, and a back garden that has been quietly collecting things. Up in the hills the pattern changes — long flights of steps down to the front door, steep drives, and a view worth the climb.
Between the two there is a large amount of rental housing, and this is where a good share of our Hayward work comes from: a landlord with a unit emptied between tenants, or a tenant moving out who does not want to make three trips to the tip.
Four kinds of load, and between them they cover almost everything we are called for here.
The garage, the side gate and the corner of the garden where things get stacked: cleared in one visit and swept clean.
Furniture, mattresses, bags and general rubbish left in a unit between tenants, removed so it can be cleaned and re-let.
Sofas, beds, wardrobes, fridges, freezers, washers and dryers — carried out from any floor.
Prunings, dead trees in pots, old fencing, a collapsed shed and the soil that came with it. Kept separate for green waste.
The flat streets either side of the Mission corridor, and the hillside neighbourhoods climbing above them.
Not on the list? The list is the parts we get asked for most, not the parts we cover. Ring and we will tell you in one sentence.
Three steps. None of them are on you.
Tell us what you've got and where it is. A couch, a garage, a whole floor. It all counts.

You get the price before we lift anything. If it works for you, we start right there.

We load it, sweep up, and leave. You get the space back the same day you called.

Stairs and tight access are the job, not an extra. This is what Hayward usually throws at us.
Most of the city gives the truck a kerbside or driveway stop with a short carry. Quick work.
In the hills, the front door is often well below or above the street. Tell us and we will bring the crew size the job actually needs.
Where there is no lift, say which floor. Stairs are not a problem, but they change how long the job takes.
The yard is on Stewart Avenue in Fremont and Hayward is about 12 miles from it, so the truck is usually with you inside the hour when the diary allows. Same day here is routine rather than a favour.
What people ask us before they book, in this city.
It is roughly 20 miles from the yard and straight up the 880, so a same-day collection is usually easy. Ring in the morning and it is often done the same afternoon.
Yes — it is one of our most common Hayward jobs. One load, one price agreed on site, and the unit left empty and swept so it can be turned around.
Yes. Prunings, timber, fencing, soil and planters all travel separately from general junk, so they go to green waste rather than to landfill.
The price depends on how much room the load takes in the truck, and a single item is the smallest job we do. You hear the number on site before anything is lifted.
