How much does yard waste removal cost?
It is priced by volume, which means how much room your load takes up in the truck, not by the hour and not by the bag. A run of hedge cuttings is a small load; a whole garden is a big one. You get your number in person, standing next to the pile, before anything is lifted. If it doesn't work for you, we leave and there's nothing to pay.
Can you take dirt, concrete and rubble?
Not as green waste — those are a construction debris load, and they travel separately because they are not green waste. Say which one you have when you call and we'll tell you straight which load it is and what it costs.
Do you take tree limbs and root balls?
Yes, and anything too big to go on whole comes apart first. Tell us roughly how big it is when you call — a limb you can carry and a trunk you cannot are different loads.
Do I have to bag it all first?
No. Leave it as it is, in the pile it is already in. We load loose branches, bagged green waste and turf rolls the same way.
Do you work with landscapers and gardeners?
Every week. Landscapers can load us or leave it to us, and we come back as often as the job needs. Tell us the address and the day and we'll fit the pick-up around the work.
What happens to the green waste you take?
As little as possible goes to landfill. Green waste travels separately from general junk, and what can be recycled gets recycled. The rest goes to a licensed transfer station.
Can you really come the same day?
That's the whole business. Call (408) 202-9877 and in most cases we're there the same day, often within a few hours. If the day is already full we'll tell you straight on the phone instead of booking you and not turning up.
Is there anything you can't take?
Hazardous waste: paint, solvents, motor oil, chemicals, asbestos and medical waste have to go to a hazardous waste facility, because the transfer stations we use won't accept them. Tell us what you've got when you call and we'll say yes or no before we drive out.
