Very large lots, very large houses, and outbuildings that have been quietly filling up for decades.
Los Altos is an old orchard town that became a very comfortable suburb, and the lots still show it: wide, deep, and heavily planted, with houses that have grown over the years rather than being built all at once. A property here often has a main house, a guest cottage, a detached garage and a garden store, and all four collect.
Much of our work in this city is a whole-property clear: a house being emptied before a sale, or a family home being wound down after decades. Those are slower jobs by nature. We start with a walkthrough, agree what is being kept, and set anything valuable or sentimental aside before the truck is loaded.
Garden debris is the other half of it. Mature trees drop limbs, hedges need cutting back, and an old fence eventually has to come out. All of that travels separately and goes to green waste rather than landfill.
Four kinds of load, and between them they cover almost everything we are called for here.
Main house, cottage and outbuildings cleared together, room by room, at whatever pace the family needs.
Properties settled after a death, handled quietly and respectfully with family pieces set aside first.
Fallen limbs, prunings, an old fence, planters, soil and timber, kept separate for green waste.
Everything a large house holds, from the furniture to the chest freezer in the garage.
The village streets around the downtown, the big lots behind them, and the quieter corners out towards the Hills.
Not on the list? The list is the parts we get asked for most, not the parts we cover. Ring and we will tell you in one sentence.
Three steps. None of them are on you.
Tell us what you've got and where it is. A couch, a garage, a whole floor. It all counts.

You get the price before we lift anything. If it works for you, we start right there.

We load it, sweep up, and leave. You get the space back the same day you called.

Stairs and tight access are the job, not an extra. This is what Los Altos usually throws at us.
Point us at every building on the property. Clearing them in one visit is cheaper than booking the second trip separately.
Loading at the door where the drive allows, with short carries where the planting is dense.
Where a clear needs more than one truck, we will say how many up front and can spread the work over several days.
The yard is on Stewart Avenue in Fremont and Los Altos is about 12 miles from it, so the truck is usually with you inside the hour when the diary allows. Same day here is routine rather than a favour.
What people ask us before they book, in this city.
Roughly 20 miles, up the 880 and across the 237 or the 85. A morning call usually means we can be with you the same day.
Yes, and it is common here. Tell us roughly how many buildings there are when you call so we can plan the truck and the crew, then we will confirm on arrival.
Yes — branches, prunings, fencing, soil and planters, kept out of the general load so they go to green waste.
Ideally someone is present for the estimate, because the price is agreed on site before anything is lifted. After that, if you are comfortable leaving it with us, that is your call to make.
Tap to call. Tell us what you've got. It's gone today.
