Garage and driveway loads
Shelving, tools that no longer work, a chest freezer, boxes, and the general run of things a garage collects over decades.

Post-war tract houses with wide driveways, big garages and forty years of stuff in both.
Concord grew fast after the war, and the houses that came with it were built on flat, wide lots with a double driveway and a garage big enough for two cars. That is a good thing for this job: loading from a driveway at ground level is the quickest collection there is, and most of this city has one.
What it also means is storage. A house with a two-car garage and a side yard collects more than an apartment ever could, and much of it is exactly the sort of thing a junk truck takes — old appliances, furniture out of a spare room, a shelving unit that came down, exercise equipment from a January nobody remembers.
The other half of the work here is rentals. There is a lot of rental housing around the downtown and along the Ygnacio Valley corridor, and a landlord with a unit to turn around wants it done in one visit, at a known price, without a saga.
Four kinds of load, and between them they cover almost everything we are called for here.

What a departed tenant left behind, cleared in one visit so the unit can be cleaned and shown. Landlords make up a good share of our Concord work.
Sofas, recliners, beds, mattresses, fridges, washers and dryers. Cold appliances are handled properly rather than dumped.
Prunings, dead shrubs, fencing, an old shed's worth of timber, planters and soil — kept separate so it goes to the right place.

Not on the list? The list is the parts we get asked for most, not the parts we cover. Ring and we will tell you in one sentence.
Three steps. None of them are on you.
Tell us what you've got and where it is. A couch, a garage, a whole floor. It all counts.

You get the price before we lift anything. If it works for you, we start right there.

We load it, sweep up, and leave. You get the space back the same day you called.

Stairs and tight access are the job, not an extra. This is what Concord usually throws at us.
Ground-level loading, straight from garage or kerb into the truck. It is the fastest kind of collection and it is why Concord jobs often take under an hour.
No stairs to plan around in most of the city, which keeps the load moving and the price down.
Where there are stairs, a lift or a long corridor, tell us the floor and we will bring the right number of hands.
Concord is roughly 32 miles from the yard in Fremont — the far end of our patch, and still inside the same-day service we promise. Call early and we will tell you honestly what the traffic will allow.
What people ask us before they book, in this city.
Roughly 40 miles, up the 880 and the 680. Same day is usually possible when you call in the morning; on a weekday the traffic is the only variable, and we will tell you honestly what the day looks like.
Yes — fridges, freezers, washers, dryers, ovens and water heaters. Appliances with refrigerant in them are handled and disposed of properly rather than left at the kerb.
It is one of the most common things we do in Concord. One load, one price agreed on site, and the unit left empty and swept so it can be cleaned and shown straight after.
No. There is no call-out fee and no deposit. The price is the load and nothing else, quoted on site before anything is lifted.
