Townhome cleanouts

Three-storey townhomes with a tandem garage, planned streets, and very little storage designed into any of it.
Dublin grew quickly in the 2000s, and the result is a city of three-storey townhomes and modern single-family houses on planned streets. They are pleasant places to live and notoriously short of storage: a tandem garage that takes one car, a landing, and a bedroom under the roof.
That shapes the job. There is rarely a basement to clear here, and rarely a big garage. What there is instead is vertical: furniture that has to come down two flights of stairs, an old mattress out of a top-floor bedroom, a sofa that will not turn on the half-landing.
The other common call is the quick one — a single item, a fridge or a treadmill or a mattress, collected the same day because it will not fit in the car and the bins will not take it.
Four kinds of load, and between them they cover almost everything we are called for here.
Furniture, boxes and appliances carried down two or three flights, with nothing marked on the way past.
Small, packed and awkward to reach. Cleared out completely, including whatever is behind the water heater.
What is left at the end of a lease in one of the newer blocks, cleared in one visit so it can be shown.
A mattress, a fridge, a treadmill, a desk — the same-day job for something the car cannot take and the bin will not accept.
Mostly new-build: three-storey townhomes and modern single-family estates, with a small old town in the middle of them.
Not on the list? The list is the parts we get asked for most, not the parts we cover. Ring and we will tell you in one sentence.
Three steps. None of them are on you.
Tell us what you've got and where it is. A couch, a garage, a whole floor. It all counts.

You get the price before we lift anything. If it works for you, we start right there.

We load it, sweep up, and leave. You get the space back the same day you called.

Stairs and tight access are the job, not an extra. This is what Dublin usually throws at us.
The normal case in Dublin. Tell us the floor and whether the staircase turns, and we will measure the awkward pieces before we start.
Planned communities have views about where a truck stands. Give us the address and we will sort the loading point in advance.
Tandem garages are rarely empty enough to work inside. We load from the drive, and carry the rest.
The yard is on Stewart Avenue in Fremont and Dublin is about 13 miles from it, so the truck is usually with you inside the hour when the diary allows. Same day here is routine rather than a favour.
What people ask us before they book, in this city.
Roughly 20 miles, up the 880 and across the 580. Same-day collections are usually possible when the call comes in early.
Yes. A single mattress, fridge or treadmill is a normal job, and it is often the reason people ring us — it will not fit in the car and the bin will not take it.
All the time. The only thing we need to know is where the truck is allowed to stand, since many associations restrict street parking and loading.
No. It changes how long the job takes, not whether we will do it. Mention the floor and the staircase when you call.
Tap to call. Tell us what you've got. It's gone today.
